It's that time of year again...time to look through all the homeschool catalogs and decide on what to use for the next school year! Love it. Although it can be stressful at times, I do enjoy it.
Our main curriculum will stay the same. We use ATI Wisdom Booklets. Wonderful curriculum. I will be making some changes this year with some of our other subjects like Math and Language Arts that due to our recent Stanford Achievement test, showed some weaknesses.
We plan to continue with Teaching Textbooks for my 6th through 12th grade students but for our younger ones I stumbled accross a curriculum called RightStart Math. We will be using that with a K5, 2nd, and 4th grader.
We will also be giving Learning Language Arts Through Literature a try this year using the Yellow, Purple, and Tan books.
I also stumbled upon another curriculum that looks like it has great ideas called All About Spelling. We will give that a try with the 3 younger ones and possibly try out The Phonetic Zoo with the older four. I have one student already graduated doing College Plus.
What else??? I'll try to see if I can link the new curriculum so others can check it out.
